During the Day...From the beach there is access to a variety of water sports including banana boat, pedalo boats, wind-surfing and jet-ski hire.
Scuba diving is offered by a number of companies and this can be arranged easily at reception. For great value and a fabulous day out we recommend ‘Aquanaut Diving’ hosted by Emma and Ryan. They will pick you up from the jetty of our private beach, so no need for the drive to Bodrum, and take you to see spectacular sights under the sea and give you lunch on board the boat. And again this can be arranged at reception. There is a fantastic market every Saturday in nearby Turgutreis from 8am. There is everything from food spices to designer clothes and handbags. Turkey produces a large proportion of merchandise sold around the world so the quality of the fake designer wear is second to none! Turkish Baths are another great way to unwind and pamper yourself on holiday. Great value and luxurious pampering can easily be arranged at reception. The Aqua park is another great day out for daring fun for the whole family! Boat trips go to Kos, part of the Greek Islands, it is just across the water. Ephesus – Step back in time to the ancient Greek and Roman times and discover the history and culture of the famous ancient city. Take time to visit one of the ancient wonders of the world the Temple of Artemis. During your visit to Ephesus you can go further up the mountain and see the last resting place of the Virgin Mary. Dalyan – An area of outstanding beauty and historic interest. Once you reach Dalyan you are taken by small boat along the river where the film the African Queen was made, as you cruise along the river you will see the Lycian Tombs carved out on the rock face, then you will stop off at the sulphur mud bath which is reputed to have cleansing and healing properties, back to cruise the river you will relax on one of the best beaches in Turkey where the Loggerhead Turtles make their nest. All of the above excursions can easily be arranged at reception with Aine and Cenap. At Night.....Take a stroll down to the right side on the beach and you will find some great sea front restaurants serving a selection of local and international food. With the waves lapping on the shore under the moonlit sky it’s the perfect setting for a romantic meal.
Take a stroll to up to the left on the beach and it will take you along the promenade into Turgutreis town. It’s a gorgeous walk with lots of hotels and restaurants on the way. Reaching the town there a plenty of busy bars and clubs to choose from as well as shops and market stalls open for late night shopping. |
